Colgan HS Hires New Field Hockey Coach

Colgan High School is proud to announce the hiring of Hassmilyn Delarosa as its new head field hockey coach.

Delarosa, a graduate of Gar-Field High School, was a standout four-year varsity field hockey player, earning all-district honors during her accomplished high school career.

She continued playing at Bridgewater College, where she competed at the collegiate level for four years. Following her collegiate career, Delarosa gained valuable experience working alongside the Bridgewater College field hockey coaching staff, serving as an assistant in 2025.

In addition to her collegiate experience, Delarosa brings four years of coaching experience in summer leagues and club programs, demonstrating a strong commitment to developing young athletes and growing the sport. Her passion for field hockey has also extended internationally, having traveled to the Netherlands to compete with Bridgewater College—an experience that provided exposure to high-level international play.

Colgan High School is excited to welcome Coach Delarosa to the Shark family!
